Presentation of the objectives of the NEPTUN project, Industry 4.0 assumptions, Implementation of the Industry 4.0 concept in small and medium-sized enterprises. These topics were discussed during the meeting Stakeholders and Industry Info Day and 5. Meetings of the Entrepreneurs' Council at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Ship Technology, which took place last Thursday at the Eureka Hotel in Sopot.
The goals of the project were discussed by Prof. Mariusz Deja, Vice-Dean for Cooperation and Dr. Eng. Marek Chodnicki, project manager. During the event Prof. Marcin Łuczak, director of the Offshore Wind Energy Center of GUT also talked about the implementation of the Digital Twin technique on the example of a wind turbine blade. Jakub Kaszuba, president of Base Group Sp. z o. o. presented the implementation of the Industry 4.0 concept in SMEs on the example of a company. Dr. Eng. Marek Chodnicki also presented the assumptions of the established Cluster of Excellence for Producers. The cluster will play a leading role in advising and improving local, regional and national industries.
